About the KAUWEP2021

King Abdulaziz University is organizing the Winter Enrichment Program (KAUWEP2021) which will be held virtually from January 24-28/2021. The theme of the program is “artificial intelligence: current implications and future directions”. KAUWEP2021 focusses on the implications of AI in four main areas:

  • AI in engineering
  • AI in business
  • AI in health
  • AI in education

The program features keynote speeches, professional development courses, speaker sessions, virtual tours to research centers at KAU, poster sessions, an award ceremony, and a cultural event towards the end of the program.

Call for poster abstract submissions.

We are pleased to announce that KAUWEP2021 seeks poster abstract submissions that describe a recently completed work, highly relevant results of work on progress, or a successfully published work relevant to the main theme and goals of the program. The virtual poster session will allow researchers/students to share their work through a quick introduction to the program audience. The poster sessions will be held in conjunction with the program from 25-28 January from 2:30-4:30 PM. Each poster presentation will have two hours to present the poster in a dedicated virtual room. A total of 100 poster presenters will showcase their projects throughout the 5-day program.

Abstract submission Guidelines

The abstract must be no longer than 250 words and should summarize your overall research project. It should highlight the significance of your research, methodology and key findings. The abstract must be written in English and saved in a PDF file. To submit your abstract, you must use the following form.
