Partnerships and Agreements

The Faculty of Business at the Rabigh branch of King Abdulaziz University seeks to enhance its academic and professional standing through building strategic partnerships and effective collaborations with prominent local and international industrial and economic entities. Among the most notable partnerships is the scientific collaboration with Petro Rabigh Company, where the company’s needs for qualified professionals were discussed, along with opportunities to develop curricula and provide summer training, cooperative training, and employment opportunities for students. The faculty also established fruitful cooperation with King Abdullah Economic City to support workforce development and conduct joint research studies that contribute to regional development goals. Additionally, a strategic advisory council was formed for the faculty, including representatives from both public and private sectors, such as major companies like Petro Rabigh, Energia, and Rabigh Chamber of Commerce, aiming to develop curricula, implement applied research, and advance training programs. On the international level, the faculty signed an academic cooperation agreement with Oklahoma City University (OCU) in the United States, encompassing faculty development and curriculum improvement efforts aimed at obtaining international accreditation, along with launching a Master’s degree program in Sports Management—the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia. These partnerships contribute to developing students’ skills, preparing them for the job market, improving curriculum quality, and enhancing the faculty’s presence locally and internationally in alignment with the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030.
