Using a computer, go to Gmail, then select "Account Settings" from the sidebar, and click on the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.

• Ensure POP is enabled by selecting one of the options:
  • Enable POP for all mail.
  • Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on.
  Then click "Save Changes".
• Ensure IMAP access is enabled:
  • Select "Enable IMAP".
  • Then click "Save Changes".

Apple Devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch):

• Make sure Step 1 is completed (IMAP enabled in Gmail main settings).
• Go to your device settings.
• Tap "Mail".
• Tap "Accounts".
• Tap "Add Account".
• Select "Google".
• Enter your full email address including "@kau.edu.sa" or "@stu.kau.edu.sa" for students.
• Tap "Next".
• Tap "Save".

Android Devices:

• Make sure Step 1 is completed (IMAP enabled in Gmail main settings).
• On your phone, go to the home screen and open the email app.
• Tap "Add Account".
• Select the account type "Google".
• Enter your full email address including "@kau.edu.sa" or "@stu.kau.edu.sa" for students.
• Enter your password and tap "Next", then "Done".
• If prompted for access permissions, select "Allow".
• You have now completed the mobile device setup.

Open your program, such as Microsoft Outlook, and configure the following settings:

Incoming Mail Settings:

• POP Server: pop.gmail.com
• Port: 995
• Security Type: SSL (Always)

Outgoing Mail Settings:

• SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
• Port: 587 (For newer versions 465)
• Security Type: SSL (Always)
