Library Visit Request Service
Faculty members, research groups, and educational institutions from outside the university can submit a Library Visit Request and specify the proposed visit date through the library's website.
Guided Tour Request
Through its website, the library offers a guided tour service that allows visitors to learn about the library's departments and services by Booking a Guided Tour.
Services for People with Disabilities
The library provides a range of services for blind and visually impaired users. A dedicated laboratory has been equipped with specialized software, devices, and printers that help users read books in Braille and browse the internet using NVDA screen-reader software, which converts digital content into audio. A cooperation agreement has also been signed with Ebsar Charity Association to enable people with visual disabilities to benefit from the resources and facilities available through both parties.
Feedback and Surveys Service
The library evaluates its services by collecting feedback from beneficiaries through surveys available on its website via the Share Your Feedback page, as well as by scanning QR codes distributed throughout the library facilities.
Book and Reference Request Service for Colleges
The library enables colleges and academic departments to request books or references that support the educational process by contacting the General Administration of Libraries at library@kau.edu.sa.
Classroom Reservation
The library allows faculty members to reserve group study rooms for lectures and work meetings. It also allows students to reserve individual study rooms. To view available rooms and make a reservation, visit the Classrooms page.
Article Request Service
The library allows users to request scientific articles that are not available within its resources by submitting an article request form through the Digital Library.
Ask My Librarian Service
The library welcomes inquiries from university affiliates regarding the library and its learning resources through the Organizational Units or through the Ask My Librarian Service.
Library Membership
Library membership can be requested through the Registration Link or by scanning the QR code located at the library entrance.
Clearance Service
This service is provided to faculty members and technical and administrative staff. It can be requested through the Etmam system via Electronic Services.
Plagiarism Detection Software Subscription Service
This service allows university affiliates and students to request subscriptions to scientific plagiarism detection software, supporting academic integrity and improving the quality of research outputs. Access the Subscription Service
College Ambassadors Service
This service provides training on how to use the Digital Library and how to search academic databases. It can be requested through the Etmam system via Electronic Services.
