Effect of cryopreservation on the proliferative and apoptotic
capacity of the embryonic cells.
2.
The effect of cryopreservation on the viability and
proliferative capacity of the fetal rat pancreatic islets.
3.
A study on the effect of obesity in pregnant rats on the
pancreatic islets of Langerhans of their foetuses and newborns.
4.
A study on the effect of viagra on sperm motility,
fertilization capability and proliferative capacity of ova fertilized by these
sperms in mice.
c. Research skills:
Experience in performing the following:
1.
Various histological and immunohistochemistry techniques.
2.
Electron microscopic techniques.
3.
Morphometric analysis.
4.
Applying the various
histological, immunocytochemical, electron microscopic techniques,
ultrastructural study and morphometric analysis on the embryos and fetuses.
5.
Induction of superovulation
in animals.
6.
Collecting ova, 2 cell stage embryos, 4 cell stage
embryos and morula from animal fallopian tubes.
7.
In vitro collection and culture of sperms and ova.
8.
In vitro manipulation of
ova and embryos. This includes manipulation of the individual cells and nuclei.
