Research interests

Current research interests are centered on studying the effect of drought and heat stresses - which are the prevalent under environmental conditions within the Western region of Saudi Arabia - on production and quality fruit crops in the Region; evaluating production and quality of fruit cultivars, using tissue culture techniques in fruit tree reproduction, as well as assessing fruit production and quality of date palm.
