Abstract : This study generally reveals the linguistic development in children between the ages three and five years in the standard of phonetics, vocabulary and sentences structure (syntax), with practical attention to some of the linguistic methods represented in (imperative, negative, interrogative and appeal), and analyzing it in Light of the psycholinguistics. The study is presented in three chapters of eight parts, that preceded by a preface, and followed by a conclusion. The Preface focuses on the concept of psycholinguistics, its fields, and its origin. The first Chapter includes three theses: the definition of the language and its functions, the definition of the concept of linguistic acquisition, and the factors affecting it. The Second Chapter: deal with the linguistic development of the child, which comes in three parts; linguistic development on the level of phonetics, then vocabulary, and sentences. Chapter Three (first part) presents the study procedures related to the sample of the study. The second subject was devoted to investigate some of the techniques in children's language, and then describing and analyzing them. The study revealed the linguistic stages of the Arab child; the Saudi child in particular (the study sample), and focusing on their tiny stylistic developments in the imperative, negative, interrogative and appeal, And the revelation of the transformative procedures experienced by the children`s attitude according to a purely linguistic analysis in the light of the theory of transformational generative. It was detected that the child passes through three stages to exquisite it; First: the word phrase, using the elements of conversion without using functional links. Second, using the stylistic sentences consisted of two or three words; it witnesses the child's linguistic skill in converting words and acting within the sentence, using converting in order, besides other elements, such as deletion, adding or both. Third, expression using the full stylistic sentence, which is the longest and most complex; it reflects the child's linguistic capacity to compose a complete sentence with the use of functional tools such as the inclusion of pronouns, or auxiliaries. The study recommends intensifying efforts in searching for the children`s language acquisition, especially the acquisition of linguistic techniques, in which I think research efforts are scarce, and need deeply studies into the future of the modern linguistic activities.
