- Study Objectives: This study aimed to:
(1) to provide a program based on the employment of multimedia technology for interactive teaching computer engineering at the third preparatory.
(2) stand on the effectiveness of the program in the development of the level of achievement in engineering among students.
(3) stand on the effectiveness of the program in the development of creative thinking skills among students.
- Methodology of the study:
I track researcher descriptive analytical method in the formulation of the theoretical framework and to prepare for study tools, as researcher used the experimental method based on the design of two unequal, one pilot study with two of the proposed program based on the multimedia computer interactive in the unit circle book of engineering for the third grade of lower secondary on the other control group taught the same content in the usual way, where are all of them for a test and also test an innovative thinking by the experience, the same two groups exposed to the same tests after the completion of the experimental treatment.
- Tools of the study: The study tools included on the following:
(1) an educational program based on the employment of multimedia technology in interactive computer unit circle
Assessed on the third preparatory grade (second semester) for the academic year 2001/2002
0.2002 to 2003 م.
(2) a teacher's guide in two of the program.
(3) worksheets for students (enrichment activities within the chapter).
(4) Notebook activity for the student (the student solve it at home).
(5) achievement test for aspects of learning are included in the program.
(6) test to measure creative thinking skills (fluency - Flexibility - Authenticity) to the students.
- Terms of the study:
(1) Multimedia: Multimedia
Intended in this research, "the use of an integrated system of media computer interactive, such as: fees fixed and mobile two-and three-dimensional, sound recordings, music, colors, and still and moving pictures, and video clips, as well as written text in its various forms, so that the employment of technology that the media in an interactive to the maximum extent possible under the control of the computer by using authoring software computer to design a program in the Engineering Department for the third grade of middle school, can learn the student individually through a PC, or in a collective manner through the positions of education administered by the teacher through the screen external display displays the contents of the program using the device Width over the head (OHP) attached to the computer by remote (LCD) and when you run the Department of the computer is loaded computer software education and placed a device (LCD) on the surface of the projector and connected to tip your computer to be displayed as a vector software on the screen of the wall through the path of rays on your projector so in order to develop the collection of students and creative thinking in the Engineering Department for the third grade of middle school, and can be measured by the tests are intended to do so.
(2) Achievement: Achievement
Delays in the collection is intended course in this study as "the information acquired by the pupil of the result of his study of the content of the program based on the employment of multimedia technology in computer engineering at the third preparatory" unit circle ", and measured the level of performance the learner estimated degrees in the achievement test prepared by the researcher.
(3) Creative Thinking: Creative Thinking
Intended to creative thinking in this research "is the mentality of an activity of mind is directed and intentional in the engineering department the third preparatory grade through understanding geometric relationships in a problem raised and the organization of past experiences and take advantage of them in the production of new ideas and solutions and innovative and that are relevant and of diversity and novelty in an environment friendly for this output Creative, which is characterized by three properties are:
Fluency: It means the flow of responses associated with the problem, and quantitatively determined in the light of the number of such
Responses (solutions) and speed of publication.
- Flexibility: refers to the diversity and atypical responses (solutions) issued.
- Originality: It means the access to authentic responses (low frequency) of new and unexpected and unusual
To solve an engineering problem raised.
- Procedures for the study:
To answer questions about the study and test the validity of hypotheses the researcher followed the following steps:
(1) review previous studies and researches in the field of interactive multimedia computer, software
Educational and creative thinking.
(2) provide a conceptual framework dealing with computer technology, multimedia, interactive and educational software
And innovative thinking.
(3) content analysis unit circle in the Book of Engineering to the third grade of middle school (second semester),
To identify aspects of learning included them.
(4) prepare a program based on the employment of multimedia technology in interactive computer unit circle in
Engineering the third preparatory grade (second semester) to be taught the experimental group according to the following:
(A) identify the objectives of the program.
(B) determine the content of units of study are included in the program.

(D) Programming Topics units using a authoring software for multimedia computer-related.
(E) develop a manual for teachers in the subjects and units of the program.
(5) Calendar: through:
(A) evaluate structural (primary): This comes after each lesson separately.
(B) a final evaluation: This includes:
- Building a test in subjects of the proposed program.
- Building test creative thinking skills in engineering.
- Ensure validity and reliability of research tools.
(6) Selection of the study group and divided into two groups: an experimental study circle using multimedia

(8) the application of the achievement test in the engineering department, and test the skills of creative thinking in engineering

- Results of the study:
The study resulted in the following results:
(1) no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the study groups (experimental and control groups) in the level of achievement in engineering for the experimental group due to style program used technology-based interactive multimedia at the level of significance 0.01.
(2) no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of two groups of study (experimental and control groups) in the test Creative Thinking in the engineering department for the experimental group due to style the program user-based technology, interactive multimedia at the level of significance 0.01 and that for each skill separately, as well as for to the test as a whole.
(3) the effectiveness of a program used in the development of creative thinking skills among students in engineering, where the value of the box ETA 2 test in the thinking of each skill separately larger than the value (0.14), as well as for the test as a whole.
(4) 72% efficiency of the program in the development of achievement in engineering among students and the efficiency of the program 71% in the development of thinking skills in engineering.
(5) separately efficiency of the proposed program are (72/60) means that 72% of the total number of pupils who have studied the program received 60% or more of the final grade in the achievement test in engineering.
(6) separately efficiency of the proposed program are (72/60) means that 72% of the total number of pupils who have studied the program received 60% or more of the final grade in the test thinking in engineering.
- Recommendations of the study: in the light of the results of the study could recommend the following:
(1) encourage and train mathematics teachers to use multimedia technology and software which multi-

(2) training of student teachers in colleges of education on the use of such technology and its arguments and software in
Teaching and learning of mathematics and followed up in how to use them during the period of practical education.
(3) training teachers in-service teachers as well as students in colleges of education on the skill of script writing
Software for a variety of diverse branches of mathematics in various stages of education.
(4) training teachers in-service teachers as well as students in colleges of education on the skill of the use of programs
Composition and preparation of software for mathematics at different stages to become able in the future
Evaluate different software and choosing the right ones for the education of pupils in an interesting way.
(5) need to pay attention to the development of creative thinking skills among the student teachers in Colleges of Education Division

(6) the need to provide a sufficient number of computers and advanced technology that includes multimedia
And laboratories are equipped for this purpose in school so as not to deprive them of access to such advanced technology in their learning and development level of achievement and innovative thinking to have.
(7) emphasized the importance of school books in terms of content and exercises that develop creative thinking skills
As well as the development of evaluation methods by paying attention to tests of open questions which have to question where more than one answer because the diversity of responses helps to develop creative thinking skills of learners, and distance from traditional tests, which measure the ability to save significantly.
(8) Building a mathematics curriculum based on problem situations and problem-solving or thinking based on the general education
And innovative thinking and make a private education for thinking is the focus of the educational process.
(9) and follow-up of stress prior to becoming a mathematics educational computers and educational software

(1) the impact of the use of multimedia software to teach mathematics on the development of drawing skills in engineering at the stage of basic education.
