Abstract	:	The problem of order of a set of tasks to be implemented on a set of machines of the important problems facing the production workshops in the industrial companies in the Kingdom, especially that this arrangement affects the total time required for completion of those tasks and then commit delivery dates to customers. The arrangement also affects the utilization of machines, the amount of storage on the progress, and the waiting time of tasks between the machines and as a result of all this will be the impact on total production costs. And this project will provide new methods to solve the problems of the sequence of tasks on the machines in the workshops or the productivity of sequential and sequential tasks, whether dynamic or static. These methods will depend on the best methods of discovery, published five other authors and some of the rules of order to evaluate the performance of the system of production. The project will provide a software package based on the proposed methods, which include that package on a database of tasks, machinery and operations and the times and rules of order and performance rates. The project will also contain the application of the simulation method to compare the methods for exploration to the times of operation, wait times, use of machinery, and other performance criteria. The results will be drawn from this project will help planners in the production of industrial companies in the Kingdom to achieve the best performance of the system, such as productivity reduce the number of overdue tasks. And to disseminate the benefit of this project will be designed on a Web site by a presentation on a computer program and information about the problems of the sequence of tasks on the machines. This report contains the results derived from the work on the project (first stage). Where the report addresses the following topics: basic concepts and problems of the sequence, Inventory of methods published for the former authors to solve these problems, the information that was collected from some of the major Saudi companies, and the formative structure of the package of proposed programs and web pages designed specifically for this project.
