Abstract : When all conventional methods fail (pharmaceutical and surgical) in the treatment of glaucomatous (glaucoma), we resort to the process of breaking down the ciliary body to reduce eye pressure. One of the ways used to do this is ciliary cooling treatment. This method has been studied in detail the human eye and the animal as a result of serious side effects of this process (atrophy of the eye and vision loss), the search for other ways of being less risky and more effective in reducing eye pressure. During the past ten years has become a Alnaodymym context of a laser is available for many ophthalmologists. Thermal radiation of the device used to destroy the ciliary body. These rays penetrate the solid eye and reach the ciliary body and working on K. This is the delivery of radiation to the eye in two ways - a direct way (communication contact) and indirect (non-communication). We have discussed this in the comparison between the impact of treatment and cooling treatment ciliary ciliary Ironing light to heat radiation of the laser device (Naodymym context) way communication contact with the eyes of rabbits for 6 months. We make every treatment at the right eye of seven rabbits results showed that treatment with ciliary optical Ironing in contact with the heat radiation of the laser device (Naodymym context) are more effective in reducing the pressure inside the eye of treatment cooling over 6 months of follow-up due to the strong destroyed the ciliary body, but is associated with some side effects. We recommend conducting further research on the laser device (Naodymym context) to know the thermal energy needed to reduce pressure inside the eye without any serious side effects on the eye.
