PROFILE
I have more than 20 years’ experience in the field of Teaching, Research, Consulting and Administration and Strategic Planning. I had represented the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in UNICEF, IP-HAB (Intergovernmental Panel on Harmful Algal Blooms) and the Ministry of Education as an Experts Authority in the Council of Ministers regarding the Kingdom’s participation in the International Coral Reef (ICRI) initiative. I am the Committee Member for the rehabilitation of lakes (Al-Salam, Al-Shabab, and Al-Arbaeen) in the Governorate of Jeddah. I have 18 research papers published in scientific journals in fisheries and the marine environment and number of papers are under review before publication. I have received number of certificates and appreciations.
I am currently working as a Director of Strategic Planning to Kingdom’s Vision Realization at King Abdulaziz University. Also working as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Marine Sciences for development, Head of the Marine Biology Department, Head of the Strategic Planning Unit at the College of Marine Science, the Head of the Strategic Planning Unit at the College of Marine Sciences, the Head of Quality Academic Accreditation Unit, and Member of the Academic Accreditation Committee,
I had participant in a number of researches, supervised number of master's students, participation in two scientific research trips, and member of several scientific committees and organizations.
