Application for student accommodation opens

Application for accommodation in the university halls of residence is now open until August 27th, according to the Deanship of Students' Affairs.

To apply, students need to access their personal accounts in the Odus Plus system, print out their admission notices and bring along the following documents: a copy of the high secondary school certificate, a copy of the university ID, a copy of the national ID and four passport-sized photos. 

Dr Abdelmonim Alhayani, Dean of the Students' Affairs, pointed out that residential halls were established to provide students with a decent learning, research and living environment, where they can enjoy a balanced development. To this end,  the university embarked on the restoration of buildings to accommodate larger numbers of students in the coming years.

He also explained that university housing will be allocated subject to availability and meeting specific allocation criteria.  

He also underscored the role of the students' advisory committee in voicing the students' concerns and needs and proposing solutions to problems.
