Dr Sadia Samar Ali has extensive experience in engineering and management teaching, training, research and specializes in supply chain management with emphasis on mathematical modelling, sustainable practices, and environmental issues in supply chain. She offers courses and sessions on topics related to supply chain performance management, logistics, smart technologies, creative problem solving and decision making. She is associated with EURO and IFORS groups as part of the working team in promoting ' Sustainable and Optimization practices' and 'Humanitarian Supply Chain' practices of developing countries. She has authored many research articles, papers, reports, and books in ISI, SCI/SSCI, SCOPUS and SCIRUS indexed journals and has been a keynote speaker at international conferences , editorial board member and guest editor . She is a registered guide for doctorate students and has handled customized training programs and workshops for top corporate entities.

Research Interests
Sustainable lean practices in Supply Chain Management and Innovation related to developing countries by using Optimization and Quantitative Analysis , Soft Computing, MCDM, Stochastic Methods and Reliability Methods.
Scientific interests
My early experience is comprised of 2 decades of teaching and research. Since 2000 I have been working continuously on the application of sustainable optimization practices in supply chain management. I have published more than 100 papers listed in ISI, SCI/SSCI, SCOPUS and SCIRUS indexed leading European, American, Indian and South-Asian journals. I have also authored 3 books and some other are still in the pipeline to get published. Moreover, I have been a keynote speaker and a presenter at various international forums for data analytics, optimization and industrial engineering. Currently, I am working as an Associate professor and mentor to guide my students and enhance their research method skills. Alongside I am also affiliated with several professional societies including POMS, SOM, ACLM, IIMM, EURO and IFORS groups as part of working team in promoting ' Sustainable and Optimization practices' and 'Humanitarian Supply Chain' practices of developing countries. I am an advisory board member, associate editor, guest editor and a reviewer of world-renowned journals.
