I was born in Assiut, Egypt and received my education until I have been graduated from the Faculty of Engineering , Department of Civil Engineering in 1986 and I was the first with very good grade with honors , commissioned work as Demonstrator at the Department of Civil Engineering in the same year. I studied for the Master degree in Faculty of Engineering , Assiut University and got the degree in 1992 and was appointed as a assistant lecturer in the same year . I got a scholarship from the Austrian grants to study for a doctorate at the University of Innsbruck , Austria , and the study began in 1995 and I finished it by obtaining a doctoral degree in civil engineering in 1998. I have been appointed as assistant professor at Department of Civil Engineering , University of Assiut, in the same year . During my PhD studies I got Edward Dolchal international Award from the International Scocity of Photogrammetry and remote sensing in its international conference in 1996 and received it in Vienna , Austria. I have conducted many research and was promoted to associate professor in 2005 and was appointed as assistant professor in the same year . I carried on conducting many of the researches and was promoted to professor in 2011 and was appointed as a professor in the same year . Also I have worked as Quality Assurance manager in one of the construction projects from 2007 until 2011 and then worked as a manager for a construction project for a year and a half , which ended in 2012 when I was appointed as a professor at the Faculty of Engineering - Rabigh, University of King Abdul Aziz. In 2019, I have been transfered to work at Faculty of Engineering, King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah as a full professor.
