• S. Wageh received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Faculty of Science, Menoufia University, Menoufia, Egypt, and the Ph.D. degree in condensed matter physics from the Northern Jiaotong University, Optoelectronic Institute, Beijing, China, in 2003. He became a Lecturer with the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Menoufia University. He was a Visiting Scholar with the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY, USA, from 2008 to 2009, an Associate Professor with the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Menoufia University, from 2010 to 2012, and a Faculty of Science with the King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from 2012 to 2014, Full Professor with the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Menoufia University and a Faculty of Science with the King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from 2014 up to now . His research interests include semiconductor quantum confined structures, solar cells, Light emitting devices, nanocarbons, grapheme, and composities. Dr. Wageh was the recipient of the article of the year from Menoufia University (12/1995), a prize from Association of Arab Universities for the excellent papers in nanotechnology, Dr. Mostafa Bahgat Abd El Mota’al Prize from Menoufia University, and 2017 Award the “ Citation prize King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah,  Saudi Arabia”.
