Dr. Magdy Gineinah is a Professor of Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah. He studied his M.Sc. in Egypt in the field of synthesis of some pyrazolidinediones as anti-inflammatory agents. He studied his Ph.D. in United States of America about mesoionic quinazoline derivatives as potential anti-inflammatory compounds (Virginia, USA). Dr. Magdy Gineinah has experience in teaching courses in Advanced Organic Chemistry, Heterocyclic Chemistry, Stereochemistry, and Spectroscopy to postgraduate students.
He supervised some theses in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Moreover, he has been a member of committee of defense of some theses in Pharmaceutical and medicinal Chemistry. Dr Gineinah is a referee for scientific publications in some national and international journals. In addition, he was the Secretary General of the Sub-Syndicate of Pharmacists in Mansoura. Research interest of Dr Gineinah lies in synthetic chemistry. He has a good experience in preparation of pharmaceutically-significant compounds to be used for medicinal application. He succeeded in synthesizing antibacterial, antiepileptic, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer compounds. He is an expert in the study of the structure-activity relationship of the tested compounds. In addition, he is capable to invent new reliable and applicable ways for the preparation of many organic compounds.

Research interest of Dr Gineinah lies in synthetic chemistry. He has a good experience in preparation of pharmaceutically-significant compounds to be used for medicinal application. He succeeded in synthesizing antibacterial, antiepileptic, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer compounds. He is an expert in the study of the structure-activity relationship of the tested compounds.
