Dr. Abdulaziz Saud Alkabaa is an associate professor and department head of the Industrial Engineering Department at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah. He received his PhD in ISE, and his second Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Tennessee, and achieved several academic recognitions during his graduate studies. Dr. Alkabaa educated under well-known professor in the areas of industrial engineering Dr. Mustafa Alidrisi who is a renewed professor and a former Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at King Abdulaziz University and member of Saudi parliament, Dr. Alberto Garcia, where one his books is Fundamentals of Network Analysis was the official source in the class of Network Analysis in King Abdulaziz University. Moreover, Dr. Alkabaa’s chiar in his M.S. in Statistics was Dr. Hamparsum Bozdogan who developed several model selection criteria that have been widely used and offered in SAS and JMP software. Dr. Alkabaa’s research interests include stochastic process, industrial statistics, design of industrial experiments, forecasting models, and high dimensional data mining.
