Profile
I have always been passionate about social justice, a concept that is fundamental to my religion and one that I strive for every day. I graduated from the University of Ottawa and then moved to the UK to pursue my LLM and PhD in International Law and human rights at Brunel University London. My degrees have shown me that there are problems in the world that affect the most vulnerable and that international law not only helps to maintain peaceful relations between states but, more importantly, that it has a growing and defining influence on the citizens of the world. Currently, I am an assistant professor at King Abdulaziz University, teaching international law, human rights, and legal research methodology to undergraduate and graduate students. I also supervise dissertations of LLM students in areas related to international law and human rights.
