Alhemimah has joined King Abdul-Aziz university, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as lecturer. Alhemimah was a lecturer in, Al Faisal University, Prince Sultan College for Tourism and Business (PSCJ), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from 2011-2012. As part of her job with PSCJ , she participated in researches on "The role of local tourism councils in cooperation with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH). Also, she worked on preparing training courses in the field of tourism, in coordination with the college director. Alhemimah holds a master’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management and Doctorate in Tourism and Hospitality with a specialisation in e-marketing tourism. Alhemimah has been involved with the tourism teaching for the last 10 years. She further served on some tourism industry organizations.
