I was born in Jeddah in 19982 and graduated from a Master of Biotechnology program in 2009 from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia, after completing my undergraduate studies in Medical Technology (2006) from the Faculty of Medical Applied Sciences, King Abdul Aziz University, Saudi Arabia. Then, I was appointed in Princess Al-Jawhara Center of Excellence in Research of Hereditary Disorders.

Research Interests
I have been interested in science and technology from a very young age. My interest in Biotechnology was sparked by my readings in this area. At this time, I seek to fulfill my ambition of specializing in such a highly professional and exciting field. These career plans are at the top of my priorities. In my opinion, Biotechnology is not just a tool that can benefit an individual, but can also bring great benefits to the community and society at large.
Scientific interests
I am interested in genetics and hereditary diseases as well as Stem cell research.
