Research Interests

Dr. Abulfaraj’s research focuses on signal transduction, molecular communications in plants to regulate defense response under stress conditions, plant-microbe interactions, developing genome editing technologies to improve plant performance.  Recently, she is working on the microbiome and its impact on human directly or indirectly.
