Dr. Hadia Ahmed Abdullah Balkhyoor is an Assistant Professor specializing in Commercial Law and International Commercial Contracts in the Department of Private Law at King Abdulaziz University's Law Faculty. She is among the first female graduates of the University's Law Department, completing her Bachelor's degree in Law with first-class honors in 2008. She continued her academic journey at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, USA, where she earned her Master's degree in 2012 and her PhD in 2017. Dr. Balkhyoor currently holds several important academic and administrative positions, including Head of the Development and Quality Unit, Coordinator of the Private Law Master's Program, and Chair of the Program Accreditation Committee. She possesses extensive practical experience in legal consultations and academic teaching, and has supervised student teams participating in Saudi commercial arbitration competitions for multiple years. Her administrative expertise is demonstrated through her active participation in numerous specialized legal committees, providing legal consultations to various university sectors and contributing to the drafting, review, and development of regulatory bylaws and institutional governance systems. She has made diverse research contributions in the field of commercial law and international trade contracts, in addition to participating in many specialized scientific conferences and seminars.
