I am currently and Assistant Professor in the Clinical Biochemistry department KAU. I graduated from KAU Medical School in 2006, and finished my Msc degree in Molecular Medicine (Universiy of Sheffield,UK) in 2009, and my PhD in Cancer Immunotherapy ( University of Oxford , UK) in 2014.
I am currently involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students various subjects in Clinical Biochemistry .
I am interested in the Tumour Microenvironment and it's role in tumour development , specifically metastasis .

Research Interests
I have great interest in Tumour Microenvironment . My two main areas of interest are Tumour immunity and Tumour metabolism.
We are interested in targeting immunosuppressive molecules in tumour , through genetically engineering Oncolytic viruses that express immune modulating molecules. (Virotherapy and Immunotherapy in Cancer)
I am also interesting in studying the role of epigenetic factors in tumour metabolism and the role of this in tumour metastasis
