Dr. Bagalagel is currently holds a position as an assistant professor of clinical pharmacy.
Dr. Bagalagel received his Postdoctoral fellowship in clinical research in human therapeutics in the Health Outcomes and PharmacoEconomic (HOPE) Research Center, College of Pharmacy, University of Arizona (2012 - 2014).
Dr. Bagalagel earned his doctor of pharmacy degree from the College of Pharmacy at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia in 2007. He practiced clinical pharmacy in the ambulatory care area there for two years as a faculty member. In addition, Dr. Bagalagel completed his Ambulatory care/Academia pharmacy practice residency, University of Arizona – South Campus Medical Center in 2015. Also, he completed his pharmacy practice residency at El Rio Community Health Center in Tucson in 2012.
His current research focuses on clinical safety and efficacy of biosimilars, diabetes, and teaching. Dr. Bagalagel is also a member of the biosimilar working group at the HOPE Center. This group focuses on clinical safety and efficacy of biosimilar agents.
