Dr. Hussien. M. Al_borie obtained his Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Indian State University, U.S.A. in 1980 ; and in 1982 completed his Master’s in Hospital Administration from the same University. In 1988 he was awarded a Doctorate in Health Service Research Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota, U.S.A.

Dr. Borie has extensive experience in health care in his capacity as researcher and assistant professor. He began his career as an Assistant Manger for Operation in Lafette General Hospital, Indiana, U.S.A. in 1980. From 1984 to 1986. he was the principal Instructor for medical technology, problem solving, and human resources of hospital industry at the University of Minnesota. In addition, he was a Principal investigator for Outpatient Clinics for the same hospital. In 1987, Dr. Borie become the principal  investigator adoption of high technology medicines for use by hospital in Saudi Arabia. Science 1988, he has been the Director of Training Program For Hospital Administration of King Saud University; Coordinator of the Cooperation program between AHHA program and Riyadh private hospitals; Assistant Professor in the Masters Program of Health and Hospital Administration, college of Administration Science of the King Saud University. From 1993 - 2000, he was the Consultant General, Projects Manger, Executive Director , And the General Manager  of various large health care services companies in Saudi Arabia. Science  Augest 2004, he has been Assistant Professor in the program of health services and hospitals administration,  Public Administration Department, Faculty of Economics & Administration, King AbulAziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia .His concentration areas include HEALTH INSURANCE(medicare, Medicaid,HMOs ,….), hospitals contracts management ,privatization of healthcare sector ,and development of new healthcare programs.
