I have worked in Computer Center (currently Deanship of Information Technology) , King Abdulaziz University, since 1989, I have gained experience and knowledge. I am currently a faculty member in Faculty of Computing and Information Technology since 2000. In 2008 I have been selected to serve as the Chairman of the Department of Computer Science, King Abdulaziz University.

Research Interests
Interested in information security issues, and I have supervised a number of master student dissertation addressed maintaining data privacy issues and also addressed the growing security threats on electronic systems. Also interested in networking and cloud computing.
