Prof.Abdulghani
Mira was born in Jeddah in 1971 in Saudi Arabia. He got a
Bachelor degree in Dental Medicine & Surgery from King
Abdul-Aziz University in 1995. he went on his academic
career when he got MD in Fixed Prosthodontics and Operative
Dentistry from Eastman college, London University in 1997.
Then, he got clinical specialty certificate in Operative
Dentistry & Esthetic Dentistry from Goldman School of Dental
Medicine , Boston University in 2000. He completed his study
when he got D.M.D. in Public Health from Goldman School of
Dental Medicine , Boston University in 2001.
Then, he got the degree of assistant
professor in the Dentistry College, King Abdul-Aziz
University in 2002.Now, he works as
associate
professor , Operative Dentistry, Esthetic Dentistry and
Fixed Prosthodontic consultant in the Dentistry College,
King Abdul-Aziz University.
He was appointed the head of
Conservative Dental Sciences
Department in the College of Dentistry, King Abdul-Aziz
University in 2002. then, college vice-dean for
academic affairs from 2004 up till now.
He held a lot of administrative positions and served in King
Abdul-Aziz University scientific committees locally and
universally. Due to his efficiency in dental medicine, he
was appointed as a member of western province committee for
Saudi Dental Society in 2004. Then, as vice-chairman of
Saudi Dental Society from 2004 up till now.
Prof.Abdulghani Mira got a lot of
memberships inside and outside Saudi Arabia (Saudi Dental
Society – American Dental Society– American Academy of
Dental Esthetic). He also conducted a lot of scientific
researches. He also gave a lot of scientific
researches and conducted training courses in the field of
Operative Dentistry, Esthetic Dentistry and Fixed
Prosthodontics locally and globally. In addition, he
participated in and attended a lot of local and scientific
conferences.
He got a lot of distinctive prizes. He got the prize of
academic distinction in the field of work, education and
teaching awarded by King Abdul-Aziz University, and a
distinctive prize for being recorded in the world book
(Who's Who)
